Badgley Mischka are known for their gorgeous embellished gowns that the likes of Sharon Stone and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have modeled. Now after making their mark in the ready-to-wear world, Mark Badgley and James Mischka are taking on the world of swim wear, launching their debut season of Badgley Mischka Swim at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Miami Swim Show yesterday.
And like regular fabrics, they did a great job with spandex. The swimsuits were 100% wearable and embellished with gold decoration or beaded detailing. The finishing touches fitted their design aesthetics, with necklines either in a flattering (but not plunging) V, or sweetheart shape.
Just imagine how well their swimsuits would look for a summer in the Rivera or in the Hamptons. Paired with the floppy hats, beaded necklaces and T-bar shoes as well of course.
