Stella McCartney interviews Kate Hudson for In Style magazine, Jan '09 issue

Stella McCartney has swapped roles and donned the interviewer's cap for the January '09 issue of U.S. In Style magazine. And the subject? None other than her close pal, Kate Hudson.

The two sat down at London's posh Locanda Locatelli restaurant, for what has been described as Hudson's "most revealing interview yet". They cover everything from her new movie, Bride Wars, to her passion for jewellery, to life as a single gal.

Stella:You're a hot ticket! You've always been in demand.
Kate: I feel good in relationships. I enjoy them, so I feel my best when I'm in something solid. But it's also the first time I've ever taken a step back and gotten a new perspective. So I've made a conscious decision to try and stay single for as long as possible.
Stella: Yeah, babe I know! What's it been - all of two weeks? Congratulations!
Kate: Exactly. I'm just trying to be an adult now.Stella: So I take it you're just watching lots of soft porn?
Kate: What are you talking about? I go right for the hard stuff!

Kate Hudson goes wild over new eco-friendly haircare range

The campaign shots from Kate Hudson's new natural haircare range have been released and they're pretty spectacular. Shot on location in Africa, the actress was photographed by Peter Lindbergh holding baby lion cubs and sitting next to a cheetah. The range, which is a partnership between Hudson and her hairdresser David Babaii, is also in conjunction with WildAid. Ten per cent of the profits will be donated to WildAid, an animal activist group. In addition to her campaign work, it has also been revealed that Hudson will appear on the cover of W magazine's September issue, which begins shooting this week.

Kate Hudson goes Great Gatsby for Harper's Bazaar

It's wonderfully refreshing to see a natural Hollywood beauty gracing the cover of a magazine to remind us just how sexy naturalness can be. Kate Hudson's Great Gatsby themed photo-shoot for US Harper's Bazaar does just that. In a Prada mermaid gown, Kate's naturally athletic body is transformed into something reminiscent of a silver screen goddess from the silent movie era.

Kate was photographed in an array of vintage-inspired dresses including: Prada, Bill Blass, Vera Wang and Dior. My personal favourite is the Dior canary yellow dress by John Galliano.

In her interview, Kate discusses her lingerie secrets: “I am totally obsessed with lingerie. How often I wear it is not often enough...We like La Perla. They made great things for small-breasted women.”

Admittedly I've only ever seen her in one film, but I'm still a huge fan of lovely Kate Hudson. She looked fabulous at the baby shower of Naomi Watts (above left), perfectly dressed in an adorable loose yellow printed minidress.
