Apparently the singer is launching a clothes and make up range so youngsters can look just like her…


Amy Winehouse is set to start her own range of clothing, make up and accessories, according to The Sun newspaper.

We’re guessing leopard print, eyeliner, bee-hive wigs, and fake tats will feature heavily in the collection.

A pal of the Rehab singer told the tabloid: “Amy’s style has been copied by girls around the country and there’s a lot of money to be made. It’s a very distinctive look.”

You can say that again! Wino is reportedly meeting fashion and cosmetic experts later this week to hammer out details of the new venture.

Let's hope Amy remembers to make a third album too.

French Vogue Feb '08 issue: stars Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss and Amy Winehouse...?

The latest issue of French Vogue sees two of our favourite supermodels, Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss, reunited for the cover. But that isn't what has really sparked our interest... It's the mag's editorial shoot featuring model Isabeli Fontana as Amy Winehouse (complete with former bee-hive) that has tickled our fancy. With Karl Lagerfeld recently declaring the troubled singer inspiration for his pre-fall show ("she is the dark Brigitte Bardot), I'm wondering - how much influence does Wino actually have on the fashion biz these days. Or has she done her dash now that she's sans beehive?

It's rare that Amy Winehouse's style is lusted after but her retro Johnny Depp t-shirt has been discussed almost as much as her new hair style. It has a print featuring Depp in the 1990 movie Cry Baby. Winehouse was spotted wearing the t-shirt last week in London as she revealed her bleached locks. You can now get the t-shirt from Viktor Viktoria for $21.99.

Karl Lagerfeld touts Amy Winehouse as a style icon

What does Amy Winehouse have in common with a French fashion powerhouse? More than you'd think.

Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld has sited Amy Winehouse as inspiration for his latest collection which he previewed in London last week. The pre-Fall 2008 collection (ah, fast fashion at its finest), titled Métiers d'Art, marched models down the runway with beehives riding high and black eyeliner thicker than ever. "She's a style icon," Lagerfeld said of the angst-ridden singer. "She is a beautiful, gifted artist. And I very much like her hairdo. I took it as an inspiration." He went on to compare the beehive to film star Brigitte Bardot's bouffant in the Sixties.

"She is the new Brigitte."

Talk about fashion's highest compliment. And it makes more sense than you would think first off. Lagerfeld's Chanel has always been a bit of a rocked out version of the classic Parisian label. So mixing in a bit of Camden cool (or is it East End grunge now that she's moved?) with the elegant tweeds of Chanel isn't exactly brand new.

Amy didn't attend the show last week which had classic style icons like Kate Moss on the guest list, but we're hoping that she'll score a bit of Chanel swag out of this. And first on the list should really be a new pair of ballet pumps.

Psst... Is Amy Winehouse Hedi Slimane's new muse?

Is troubled rocker Amy Winehouse Hedi Slimane's latest muse? WWD reports that the former Dior Homme designer has recently posted two images of Winehouse (above) on his website as part of his visual diary.

It seems that Slimane may be developing an affinity with fallen musicians. He recently dedicated an entire photo-book to Pete Doherty as well as having a well-known fascination with Courtney Love whose portraits also appear on Slimane's website.

Do we see the early stages of a new career for Slimane from designing to photography?
