Madonna for Louis Vuitton spring/summer '09 campaign

Get a load of this! Madonna's new campaign for Louis Vuitton has been revealed and its a cracker. Check out those legs, those shoes, that bag *drool*. LV's creative director, Marc Jacobs, admitted that the choice to use Madge was a light bulb moment.

"I just blurted out, 'I think we should do Madonna,"' he said, adding that he'd attended her Paris concert the night before. "I was totally just blown away by it, and moved by her performance, by what she had to say, and her energy."

Following that light bulb moment, Marc tapped out a Blackberry message to Madonna, who replied with: "I'd love to."

And who wouldn't? The outcome is six French-inspired, sepia-toned photographs by Steven Meisel, which were taken of the Queen of Pop inside L.A.'s trendy Café Figaro. Antoine Arnault, Vuitton's director of communications, denied rumours that Madge pocketed a whopping $10 million for the gig.

"It's very far away from that," he admitted.

If, like me, you're wondering what the turn-around was on these photos, then it look less than a day for shooting to wrap, with the pictures taken just last week. Speedy.

"It was her idea to do the fishnets," Jacobs revealed. The campaign looks set to drop in February, in tandem with LV's "core values" campaign, which
currently stars Sean Connery. I sure do look forward to those Miu Miu shots of Katie Holmes now.

Khloe Kardashian falls victim to the flashbulb

Khloe, we need to talk. I think it's time I introduced you to two vital items of clothing. The first is a black bra. The second are called 'trousers'. You might call them 'pants'. Either way, they go on your legs where you've mistakenly put those tights and that 'belt'. I refuse to call it a skirt, because skirts cover your arse.

Pamela Anderson dishes on *that* Vivienne Westwood campaign

Pamela Anderson may have decided to skip the need for trousers at this week's prestigious Art Basel show in Miami, but it looks like she is still on track to front Vivienne Westwood's next campaign.

The former Baywatch star has spilled to Ocean Drive magazine about her role in Westwood's forthcoming spring/summer '09 ads.

"I just finished working with Vivienne Westwood, shooting next summer's campaign for her fashion line," she said. "Vivienne and her husband, Andreas, came and stayed at my house for two days while we did the shoot, and it was fantastic, we had so much fun."

I wonder if this time Pammy will be wearing more than just her pants...

Cameron Diaz flaunts it all for GQ May '08 issue

Cameron Diaz shows off her bodacious bod in the latest issue of GQ magazine. Posing in a sexy one-piece cut-out swimsuit, the actress reveals in an interview with the men's mag that she's happy being single.

"I love my life, I don't have any shame in being happy," she said.

"You spend so many years in darkness with stuff eating away at you - it's okay to be happy," she added.

Although if the latest reports are correct, the 35-year-old may not be single for much longer. It is rumoured that Diaz is currently dating Scottish actor Gerard Butler after the pair were spotted on several dates around Los Angeles.

The May issue of GQ magazine is out now.

Ann Summers' new lingerie line is sweet and sexy all at once

While Ann Summers is often more reputed for it's naughty toys than anything else, they do sometimes come up trumps with sexy and affordable lingerie choices. Their new collections certainly contain some things that are best left to more daring women than I, but there's also a few gems that all of us can feel irresistible in.

The Intrigue collection (pictured left) is a gorgeous set with basic shapes spiced up with lace and a striking midnight blue colour. Something a little more adventurous than the standard black. Secondly the Valentina teal chemise (far right) is a surprising turn of sexiness not overdone, with the classic silk and lace combination turning out yet another winner.

By far my favourite of the new ranges is the Chiffon, here pictured in mint green. This cami and knicker set is girly and frilly, without compromising on a hint of sexiness. Who'd have thought I'd say that about something from Ann Summers?

Sexy glam gals 'snort fashion' like cocaine

Fashion giant Benetton claims campaign totally fake

An advertisement featuring models snorting a white dress as if it were cocaine is causing an online fashion frenzy, but the company purported to be marketing itself claims the campaign is completely fake.

The image shows two women in glamorous outfits holding straws in a manner associated with inhaling drugs, appearing to be sniffing an outfit lying next to a small pile of white powder on a table top. The superimposed caption has the words "Sisley" and "Fashion Junkie," with the word "Fashion" actually misspelled as "Fashioin."

Sisley, which has been known for sexually provocative ads in the past, is a division of clothing giant Benetton.

Fashion-related sites across the Internet have been flooded with comments about the image.
"For the love of God! I have a 17-year-old daughter and it just kills me to think that she would see this ad or any other ad like this anywhere," writes Sandra Lynch in an online blog. "This is sick and twisted."

"I believe in freedom of advertising," said Bill Muckler, "but, I certainly would never buy, or sanction the use of, any of their products."

But Benetton claims the company is a victim in this case.

"In the recent days, images which are told to be part of the new Sisley advertising campaign have been published," says an official statement on its website.

"One of these images shows some girls 'sniffing a vest.' The allusion to drugs and alcohol is more than clear. We would like to clearly state that the Sisley brand (and the Benetton company) has nothing to do with these images and therefore we refuse to be linked with them."

It also says whoever is responsible could face legal action.
"These images infringe Benetton's rights in the Sisley trademark. Our legal department has therefore been retained to take all advisable actions to protect the company's rights and interests."

Benetton is no stranger to controversy with advertising, as it came under fire just before the turn of the century with a campaign featuring convicted murderers, which some called "United Killers of Benetton," playing off the company's slogan of "United Colors of Benetton."

Sexy Vest a Hit on the Global Catwalk

Divas and designers on the fashion scene have recently gone crazy over the vest, which is becoming the biggest hit for this fall.

The one and only vest is definitely the new toy for the dolls in the fashion industry. Even though no one has reinvented the wheel with it, this practical garment transforms every woman into a queen of high style.
After all, the fashion epithet has been shaped over time in the spirit of the female gender and it gives every woman the dominance of a dandy goddess. In the pile of used relics, this garment will become the fashion attraction this autumn.

Infusion for every occasion
Depending on inspiration, a vest can easily be creatively combined with denim, worn over blouses, shirts and dresses. Beyond that, the fashion treat is an excellent choice for every occasion, be it a formal ball or an alternative music festival.

Famous divas and famous lines
“Short and sweet” vests are very popular among contemporary women today who are part of the stardust. Some of the devoted fans of the garment in question include: Avril Lavigne, Kate Hudson, Nicole Richie, Tyra Banks, Charlize Theron and, of course, Kate Moss.

Among the famous women’s collections that contain “those amazing vests,” those that stand out in particular are: Kate Moss TopShop, Alexander McQueen, 3.1 Phillip, Oasis, Bogner Jeans, Day Birger et Mikkelsen, Forever 21, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Matthew Williamson and Miss Selfridge.
