Scarlett Johanssen and Eva Mendes make the most of their differences at 'The Spirit'

At the launch of 'The Spirit' in Berlin recently Eva Mendes and Scarlett Johansson couldn't have dressed more differently, but both manage to look stunning. They're a shining example of dressing to suit your figure, colouring and personal style rather than chasing trends.Scarlett looks glowing with her new red-hued hair and a gorgeous stiff silk skirt which shows off her slim waist. Eva has gone for a more classical silhouette with a retro dress in a colourful print which makes the most of her golden skin.

The Other Boleyn Girl: Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson in Berlin

Scarlett Johansson and Natalie Portman are two of young Hollywood’s least notorious female stars and they’re both staring in one of the most anticipated films of the year, The Other Boleyn Girl. They were both on the red carpet for the film's premiere at the 58th Berlin Film Festival tonight with Scarlett wearing a pink Oscar de la Renta dress while Natalie wore a Rodarte spring 2008 piece. The contrast in the two actresses dress choices is interesting – Scarlett always seems to play it safe with dresses with a cinched waist and full shirt while showing off her décolletage, while Natalie is more willing to take risks in Rodate, Zac Posen, Derek Lam and other up and coming American designers (including Elizabeth & James - one of the Olsen twins' labels).

The girls did a quick outfit change for the The Other Boleyn Girl photocall, with Natalie wearing 3.1 Phillip Lim dress and her Te Casan collection of vegan heels, while Scarlett went for a floral dress with black tights and flats. Nice a casual, but I think Natalie looks so much more chic.

Scarlett Johansson looks infuriatingly good again for Louis Vuitton

She's been decidedly over exposed in my opinion of late but that doesn't stop Scarlett Johansson looking devastatingly good in these latest shots for Louis Vuitton. I've never been a fan of the iconic bag maker but they sure know how to sell. Their recent Mikhail Gorbachev shoot was out of left field, but it certainly got tongues wagging.

Penelope Cruz: Lovin’ Fashion and Family

After a photo shoot and shopping trip in Paris, Penelope Cruz has now found herself situated in Barcelona for the filming of Woody Allen’s upcoming film, co-starring Scarlett Johansson.

The actress recently sat down with Style magazine for an interview, but was tight-lipped about her latest role - instead opting to talk about her upcoming fashion line and close-knit family.

Penelope spoke of how she has recently entered into a business venture with her sister, Monica, a dancer and television actress. The sisters designed a collection for the Spain-based fashion chain Mango, which includes a mix of red-carpet-inspired evening wear, jeans, knits and daywear based on their own fashion preferences.

Speaking of the new clothing endeavor (which is slated for a September 16 launch), Cruz said, “This is something we’ve wanted to do for a long time. We just had to find the right people to do it with. We’ve always loved clothes – we used to hide in the bathroom with fashion magazines and say, ‘I want that one.’ We’d get a pencil and mark the pictures, and show how we’d transform them at home.”

As evidenced by her close working relationship with her sister, Penelope also spoke of the importance of keeping her family at the top of her list of priorities. “My family are the best thing I have, and I spend a lot of time with them. We are very strict about that, about not letting anything interfere with having time for the family. We are always here for each other, all of us.
We know that we can count on the rest, so we always find the time.”

Now, Penelope is not only spending time with her family, but she’s found a way to make money while doing so!

Celebrity Watch: Hollywood A-lister Scarlett Johansson

Some looks are so sizzling, we lack the words to describe it. The platinum blonde, seen here in a strapless satin dress in pink and blue ombre is always at home, whether it's on a red carpet, a film set, or a benefit for charitable causes.

It's so rare in Hollywood that one is blessed with both looks and talent. Add charitable causes to that list, and you've got a star who's one in a million. Actress Scarlett Johansson recently played hostess at the Louis Vuitton LoVe party for his new LoVe collection and the Oxfam charity organization. Twenty-two-year-old Johansson has been a model and spokesperson for the French design house since 2005. And in November 2006 was named Esquire magazine's Sexiest Woman Alive. It's not hard to understand her appeal to both men and women, looking at this photo of her, taken May 3rd, at the charity gala event.
Lost in Translation
Some looks are so sizzling, we lack the words to describe it. The platinum blonde, seen here in a strapless satin dress in pink and blue ombre is always at home, whether it's on a red carpet, a film set, or a benefit for charitable causes. In fact, earlier in the year Johansson actually spent time in Sri Lanka and India with the Oxfam organization meeting survivors of the tsunami disaster. Now that's a trend worth setting! Scarlett's next big Hollywood project is director Woody Allen's film Midnight in Barcelona in the summer of 2007.
