Atonement triumphs at the Golden Globes

There may have been no ceremony for this year's Golden Globes but that didn't stop the cast and crew of Atonement from celebrating their win overnight. The film took home two awards for best dramatic motion picture and best original score. Meanwhile, its leading stars Keira Knightley and James McAvoy, appear in the February issue of
W magazine. As Chanel's latest muse, Knightley wears nothing but the French label in the shoot except for a tutu (from Tutu.com). I don't think I've seen the delectable McAvoy look quite so menacing before, check out the scowl! More images after the jump...

Keira Knightley looking healthier at the LA premiere of Atonement

Keira Knightley has turned out in a peach coloured Rodarte dress for the Atonement premiere in Los Angeles last week. Glowing with good heath, the actress showed off her new bangs, which is fast becoming a Hollywood trend. While the Rodarte dress still drapes a little awkwardly across her chest, Keira looks a lot healthier than she did three months ago when she showed off her rib cage and hollow eyes at the London Atonement premiere. The bangs look fantastic on her, with her porcelain features she looks almost doll like in the full-skirted dress.

Elle hearts Brits: Keira Knightley and Victoria Beckham score Jan '08 covers

It's a touch of Brit love this month from the guys at both US and UK Elle magazines. Keira Knightley graces the UK cover for the January '08 issue, while Victoria Beckham proves she has officially entered the LA sphere by landing the US cover. We've already seen the pics from Victoria's photo-shoot with US Elle, remember that Big Bird feathered thing? Keira Knightley is rocking it out on the UK cover in a Gucci leather jacket and Stella McCartney dress (not Chanel for a change!) Both covers were shot by Gilles Benisom... who do you think makes the better cover model?

Keira Knightley goes to premiere, looks gorgeous

It's a tough life for Keira Knightley, isn't it?

Every night she has to put on a gorgeous frock and go to another premiere for her latest film Atonement. But at least she's good at it!
Last night was the LA premiere of the new movie, and Ms Knightley pulled out all the stops.

Keira's beautiful peach dress looks incredible and reminds me of something from Swan Lake: very floaty and feminine.

I'm also a big fan of her black and grey round-toed heels (though i'm not sure i'd have put them with that dress)

Still, they gave a very girly dress a tough and slight masculine edge. And 'girly with a tough edge' is a perfect description of the lovely Kiera if ever I heard it - as a glance at the cover of this month's Interview magazine will show you!

Keira Knightley looks beautiful in braces on the cover of Interview

No, she's not having an Ugly Betty moment. We're talking the kind that hold your trousers up. And the kind that can very strategically cover you up.

The December issue of Interview magazine has Keira posing seductively in black braces, white trousers and opera-length black gloves. All she needed for the perfect smoulder was a deep red pout.

Braces are back ladies. Victoria Beckham is on the cover of US ELLE in braces as well. But surprisingly she was the one with a top on. Not a problem though as the gorgeous Keira is enough to have us reconsider our lingerie. Good thing there's this handy list of stylish braces to help out.

Atonement, UK premiere: What do you make of Keira Knightley's Rodarte dress?

Goodness! If Keira Knightley was hoping to make an entrance at the London premiere for her new film Atonement, she certainly did so in this dress. Last week we followed Knightley's fashion trail around the Venice Film Festival as she flew the flag for Chanel.

However, she decided to take a break from her current employees last night and instead chose this risqué Rodarte dress which, in my opinion, was a bit of a risky choice.

Lovely as it is, the colour of this dress does nothing for Keira's skin tone. Her hair also looks rather lackluster, although her pretty jewel tiara certainly gave her that elfin appearance. She reminded me of Cate Blanchett or Liv Tyler in their mystical roles in the Lord Of The Rings trilogy. What do you think of Keira's red carpet appearance?

Keira Knightley bares all for Chanel

As she would be the first to admit, Keira Knightley is not exactly famous for her hour-glass figure.

But her latest role - which sees her posing virtually naked to advertise a perfume - makes her look subtly different.

Despite the presence of a carefully-placed bowler hat, the 22-year-old actress appears to be just that tiny bit curvier.

It's certainly a different image from that presented in such hit films as Pride And Prejudice and the Pirates Of The Caribbean series.

Ever since she appeared in a sports bra as a 17-year-old in Bend It Like Beckham, the waiflike actress has done nothing to disguise her lack of cleavage.

She once spoke her dislike of her chest, saying: "I don't have any t***, so I can't show cleavage."
That's not always something the Hollywood publicity machine has been happy about.

While the British posters for her 2004 film King Arthur displayed her natural boyish look, the American ones were a different story.

Keira Knightley Walks The Walk With TOMS Shoes

When she’s not a pirate in love/not in love with Captain Jack Sparrow, or an impossibly good looking 18th Century Jane Austen character, Keira Knightley is a fashionista with an eye for design and a penchant for charitable causes.

So is the case with TOMS Shoes — a business that allows Knightley to combine her love for helping out, while also looking good. TOMS creates shoes that are inspired by the traditional make found in Argentina. For every pair that is bought in stores around the world, the company generously gives away the same pair to a person in need. Over 10,000 pairs have been distributed so far to poor in Argentina.

You can pick up a pair for about $38 or hit up the website for more information. A great concept and business that’s easy on the wallet and good for the sole.

Keira Knightley Hits Farmer’s Market With Hindmarch Bag

The “I’m Not A Plastic Bag” tote has been spotted once more on the arm of its famous owner. After getting snapped earlier this year carrying around the Hindmarch bag, Keira Knightley was seen at a Farmer’s Market in central London last week walking the green walk with the same bag.

Sure, it’s just a bag — but the craze that followed after Knightley was photographed with the tote caused designer Anya Hindmarch to be overwhelmed with demand. We’re talking lines around bocks, Ebay sales, cats and dogs living together, etc. Then there was the controversy that erupted when the bag was found to be less than “green” — even though Hindmarch never intended them to be sourced locally or made from organic materials. This spawned a whole slew of “I’m Not A” knock-offs and responses.
We’re just hopeful this goes beyond the fashion and causes people to use less plastic and more reusable options.

Dear Keira: Please carry around a solar panel next. They’re heavy, but you’ll look great.
